The cover has green cloth, with darker green lettering and rule lines. The sub-title is "In Persian and Roman Characters, Specially Designed for the Use of Officers and Men Serving in India." The spine strip has darkened; its top and bottom edges are a little frayed. About an eighth of the front board has a mottled, faded area, and it has a 3/4 in. stain. The boards' front corners are a little frayed. Some of the pages; inside margins are wrinkled, apparently caused by the binder's method of binding. Scans e-mailed upon request.
