Print on Demand. This book establishes that the existence of God can be proven with mathematical exactitude. The author, an erudite scholar of philosophy, presents a comprehensive analysis of the philosophical journey taken by some of history's greatest thinkers toward proving God's existence. The proof of God's existence is demonstrated to hinge on man's innate ability to conceive and desire an ideal that surpasses human limitations. The author argues that this power of conception, the "dialectic process of reasoning," is as precise as mathematical logic, although far simpler and quicker. The author traces this idea's evolution throughout philosophical history, from the dialogues of Plato to the scientific discoveries of Leibnitz, showing how it has been used by both the learned and the humble to reach the same conclusion: God is. The book is an important contribution to philosophy's canon, one that elucidates the nature of true wisdom, revealing its profound and accessible nature. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. …

The book traces a lineage of ideas about proving God’s existence and understanding divine attributes. It examines how thinkers move from visible creation and inner experience to the concept of a supreme being, and it discusses the limits and possibilities of reason when faith enters the equation. Readers will see how different approaches—Platonic, Aristotelian, Augustine, Anselm, Thomas Aquinas, and later philosophers—shape the ongoing conversation about God.
What you’ll experience
- Clear, historical overview of major theodicies and their arguments
- Explanation of how reason and faith complement each other in pursuing truth
- Discussion of the progression from the natural world to the idea of God
- Insight into how seventeenth‑century thinkers positioned philosophy and theology
Ideal for readers of philosophy, theology, and intellectual history who want a concise, thoughtful map of the quest to know God.

For this reason, we kindly ask that you double-check the title, edition, and your shipping details before placing an order.
