The shipping costs as stated on Abebooks are based on parcels that weigh less than 2 kilos (book and packaging material) or less than 1 kilo for shipments to some distant countries like New-Zealand, Australia, Japan, .... If the parcel exceeds this weight, an increase in the shipping cost can be proposed. The buyer always has the chance to refuse the extra shipping costs. To be clear: the shipping costs are only charged at the actual cost price (as charged by the courier service). Orders are shipped within 2 business days of payment.
