1937 - 1938. Tall 8vo, part ix, pages 27 - 43, 1 black and white plate, part X , pages 93 - 129, 4 colour plates, part XI, pages 160 - 244, 6 coloured, 4 uncoloured plates, 2 diagrams. Original half cloth, some occasional browning but the colour plates largely clean with only a little marking to the margins. The complete Volume 5 of this scarce journal which also contains papers of ethnography , "Stamps of Uganda" and topography of Uganda. Please note that the colour plate in part IX of "Snakes of Uganda" is missing. The Uganda Journal included the first appearance of Pitman's "Snakes of Uganda" which was then reprinted as a book in 1938. The three parts included here are the final 3 of the 11 which appeared in the journal.
