Guide to Software Engineering Standards and Specifications (Artech Computer Science Library)

This new directory provides the first complete listing of software engineering process standards and technical reports. As software engineering processes change, so do industry standards and specifications, and it is essential that software engineers keep up-to-date on accepted process practices. The book presents an overview of 300 standards, guides, and technical reports. It includes a single-page abstract for all existing standards, with details of what they contain, how they are used, when to apply them, and where to obtain full copies. This is an essential reference for engineers designing software or specifying contracts.
