A large folding map (70 x 60.5 cm) printed in colours covering the middle part of Japan (from Tsu in Mie prefecture to Ishinomaki in Miyagi prefecture). A detailed map printed in Japanese, towns also printed in English. Some small repairs on verso, nicely done. Housed in original printed folder with a tie, lightly rubbed. Overall a very attractive and easily accessible map done for tourists. Price on the cover in red was 30 sen (!) in 1887. Edited by Sakai Sutehiko of an ex-samurai family of the Mito clan.

All items are offered subject to previous sale. All books are complete,
octavo in size and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Prices are
in Euro; packing, postage and insurance are extra. Payment is to be made
by Visa/MasterCard or by direct bank transfer. New customers are
requested to remit payment upon receipt of a pro forma invoice prior to
shipment. Books may be returned within fourteen days of receipt after our
confirmation. Safe return shipment is the buyer's responsibility. All
transactions are made under Swedish law.
Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
