Guidebook for Teachers for the New Round About (Classic Reprint)

This book, written to help teachers understand how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of different groups of pupils, began as a response to the concern among educators that many pupils were not receiving the type of instruction they needed to progress to the best of their abilities. The author's central focus is upon children, teachers, and the process of learning, and within this context, the book explores a wide variety of teaching methods, techniques, and activities. The author, highlighting as well the importance of teacher-pupil relationships, offers ways of establishing and maintaining motivation in pupils, and provides guidance on how to effectively and appropriately manage the classroom, and how to best present subject matter so that maximum learning takes place.
