About the Author

Heather is a counsellor, grief coach, and qualified counselling supervisor with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology (Counselling). Having lost both parents at a young age as well as other important parental figures in her life, Heather brings empathy, understanding, and authenticity to her work. She is passionate about helping others process grief, rebuild meaning, and find resilience after loss. Drawing from both professional experience and personal loss, Heather wrote Guided by Grief, a compassionate memoir offering insight, comfort, and practical guidance for those navigating bereavement. Heather lives in Scotland but helps clients from all over the world as her 1:1 support sessions at 'Heather Higgins Coaching' take place online. To date she has helped 500+ clients
