Chapter 1 provides new commanders with some insight into their duties and responsibilities. Chapter 2 provides some tried-and-true guidelines for dealing with people. Chapters 3 and 4 contain the main body of the handbook: policies and procedures that a commander can use to motivate and assist military personnel, as well as methods for dealing with military personnel who do not comply with Air Force standards.
