The Guild of Decorative Arts

The Guild of Decorative Arts by Barbara June Morrison, published privately by Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Morrison in 1969 and printed by The Hudson Buckler & Webb Group of Birmingham. The boards are pink cloth with a black roundel design on the front cover enclosing a pig illustration within a decorative border, and the title lettered beneath in a gothic-style script. The spine is faded to a lighter pink with the author's surname and title lettered in black. The rear board is plain. Inside, the foreword by the Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire is signed in print 'Cobham'. The text pages are off-white with black printed text and occasional line illustrations, along with at least one black and white photographic plate showing a craftsman at work. The covers show some edge wear and light handling marks, with the spine notably sun-faded compared to the front board. The corners show light bumping.
