Guinnie & Iszy Get Rescued

Guinnie & Iszy Get Rescued is a charming story about two little kittens who are determined to find people who will want to look after them.

A cat and her newborn kittens have taken refuge in a back garden shed. Guinnie and Iszy, the most curious of all the kittens, explore their surroundings while their mother explains how their lives will be once they leave the safety of the shed. Guinnie and Iszy don’t like the sound of a life on the streets and are hopeful they will be saved from becoming strays.

One day, the owners of the shed discover the cat and her kittens and threaten to get rid of them. Guinnie and Iszy make a plan to endear themselves to the couple but before they get the chance, a stranger arrives, places the whole family in a cat carrier and takes them away to an animal rescue centre.

Knowing Guinnie and Iszy are scared, Mummy Cat reassures the little kittens they are safe, that the couple did the best they could for them and arranged for them to be looked after. Guinnie and Iszy are happy that they are not going to be strays after all and look forward to the adventures that await them.

Guinnie & Iszy Get Rescued teaches children the best thing to do should they find themselves with a stray cat and other potential pets and how all animals should be treated with care and consideration.
