About the Author

As a fourth generation Texan and Galveston resident, A. Hardy Roper writes from a wealth of knowledge about the island's storied past and vibrant present, and has written a series of mystery novels centered around an old bait-camp and bar owner, Parker McLeod. He has also written two children's books that combine life lessons with characters that kids can identify with.
