Margie Moore. When asked to illustrate a companion volume to "A Gull's Story," Margie Moore was happy to have another chance to revisit the natural and physical wonderment of the Jersey Shore that captivated her imagination as a child growing up in the seaside town of Belmar, New Jersey. Besides illustrating the "A Gull's Story" books, her endearing style of art has merited numerous other titles including "Bartholowmew's Blessing"; the "Ruby Raccoon 'I Can Read'" book series (all from HarperCollins Publishers); the "Little Brown Bear" books; and "Hillside Lullaby" (all from Dutton Children's Books). Margie and her husband live very near to where she grew up along the Jersey Shore.
