Three prints (original plates, nos. CCLXXXV, CCCCXLIII and CCCCXLV), taken from a disbound volume of 'The Edinburgh Encyclopedia' (Third Edn., 1830), showing bw. engravings of: (Plate CCLXXXV) 'Gun Making' (with illus. of rifles and flintlocks)/(Plate CCCCXLIII) 'Ordnance' showing illus. of two guns (plate has small area of light staining to one edge (illus. not affected)/(Plate CCCCXLV)'Ordnance' (illustrating 'Elevation of Limbers'/plan and of Howitzer carriage/'Traversing crronade carriage'/'Sir Willm. Congreve's Traversing Ship Gun Carriage'/'Common Ship Gun Carriage'); plate has very faint stain to top edge. All prints fresh, paper crisp/very bright. Lightweight items hence overseas customers will have SHIPPING CHARGES REDUCED subsequent to ordering. A collection in VG- condition overall.
