Guenzig (1868-1931) had a talmudic education in his hometown of Cracow, and later studied at Berlin and Berne. Before WWI, he was a rabbi in Moravia, and afterwards was the head of the Tahkemoni School in Antwerp. He edited seven volumes of Ha-Eshkol.
