The first edition was published in 1907 in cloth (50¢) and paper (25¢). Includes a map and profile of the Panama Canal, as well as a world map showing mother countries and possessions. Other maps show the religions of the world, timber supply of the world, river systems of the world, etc. Statistical information includes "The Total Population of the United States and its Elements at Each Census." In addition to a map index, there are location keys for the principal cities of the world and for the principal cities of the United States. This was a popular small format atlas of its day, reprinted through at least the mid 1920s. Just a bit of wear and spotting to cloth, a very good copy with fine interior. (#170172).
