Type: Hardback 1922 Hardcover Book in Good Condition. Classic Writing Textbook. Small detailed volume published in 1922 with effective writing skills designed as a textbook for a college course in English and for use in the correction of themes. Grammatical principles are clear and concise as are the other topics such as clarity of thought, effectiveness of the sentence, diction, punctuation, proper use of tense, paragraph cohesiveness, etc. All as pertinent today as in 1922. Binding of brown cloth w/gilt titles, which is rubbed off on spine, visible on front. Clean and unmarked, light scuffing to corners, spine head and heel rubbed; tight and solid sewn binding. Former owner name on endpaper. Pages are clean, no marks, no tears, moderately toned, but not browned. The back loose endpaper has a piece torn out of it.
