1884 rare reprint. Essentially the first history of Osborne County, Kansas, but it is one of the few homesteading-period promotional books still in existence anywhere. Over 100 sketches telling the people's histories up to 1884. It shows their origins to be from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio and eastern states. Excellent genealogical source. (1884),1997, 6x9, paper, 60 pp. [CP256].
