HARDWIRED LEADERSHIP

Why do some teams do just enough while others give everything?

Why do some enterprises stall while upstarts sprint?

Why do some people merely comply while their peers fully commit?

Because of two fundamentally different sources of motivation. Most managers rely on carrots and sticks, resulting in command-and-control compliance. The best leaders tap into something deeper and far older than management: the way human beings are hardwired to commit to a common cause, triggering extraordinary effort and achievement.

Drawing on first-hand experience across global enterprises and tech unicorns, as well as case studies ranging from smokejumpers and spec-op missions to digital transformations and corporate innovation labs, this book puts a name to what separates the committed from the compliant. Hardwired Leadership gives professionals a proven mechanism to unleash exceptional performance in everyday people, whether in a team, a division, or an organization.

The Hardwired framework isn’t a new twist on leadership. It’s an illumination of human behavior and a road map to diehard commitment.
