i-xviii, 19-505 pages. Hardcover; H 19.25cm x L 13cm. Dark tan dust jacket with light soiling and wear at flap ends, spine panel well browned with shallow chipping at ends as well as small surface abrasion and smaller stain near center. Blue cloth, two short closed tears at spine head. Light toning to endpapers; mild paper abrasion to front free endpaper from removal of sticker. Frontispiece illustrated by Simon H. Vedda. Book #78 in The Evergreen Library series. A still fairly crisp very good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket.
