HART Communication Protocol

Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) was developed in the mid to late 1980s by Rosemount, as a digital replacement for 4-20 mA technology for transmitting a process variable for analog instruments. Today, it is the world's most often used protocol for process automation.
