"A charming story, equally suitable for boys and girls, the scene being set in one of Denmark's beautiful forests bordering the shores of the Cattegat." Hardback, with dust wrapper. Boards are moderately handled. Spine and front board thumbed and showing moderate wear. Free endpaper, pastedowns showing light wear and some light foxing. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper and bookplate on front pastedown. Binding is neat and tidy. Page edges also bear some foxing. This book is in fair condition. Dust wrapper has been well handled. Some discolouration along creases. Corners and spine thumbed and well sunned (see image). Price clipped. Otherwise in fair condition. *We try to describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
