HEROPLOT: The Absolution of Kane Part I

The gripping coming-of-age sequel to Scott Harvey's HEROPLOT: The Spear of Destiny.

In the desolate Outlands, nestled between the towering fortresses of Alpha2 and Alpha3, lies a once forgotten town. Shrouded in mystery and far beyond the oppressive reach of Supreme Leader Spear, life is simple and untroubled—or so a small band of friends had always believed. Unfortunately for them, their peaceful illusion is shattered when the traitorous plans of someone in their midst, backed by the formidable might of DomiForce, unveils a sinister truth—a revelation that not only threatens to fracture the bonds of their friendship, but to plunge DomiNation into chaos.

For Josh Clayborne, the greatest challenge looms on the horizon, though all will be lost if he fails to distinguish fact from fiction, and find a way to save his beloved Woodville. Aided by a mysterious newcomer, with his loyal brother at his side, Josh must navigate a treacherous path if he should ever hope to see his friend again, but with time running out, every heartbeat brings him closer to the brink, and desperation may yet force him to seek unexpected allies. Trust, however, is a fragile commodity, particularly when the minds of the many are enslaved by the few, and the threat of DomiGen with their implants will fade in significance if the whispered rumours of O.D.I.U.M and the ShadowSeekers turn out to be more than mere legend.

In this heart-pounding game of cat and mouse, where every move holds the difference between life and death, an unexpected hidden power may yet prove decisive. Still, in the wrong hands, a catastrohpe awaits—especially if one of those hands has only four fingers....

Scott Harvey lives in Norway with his wife and two small children. Although his family originate from Northern Ireland, Scott moved to the lands of Vikings and fjords after finishing university at the Kent Institute of Art and Design in England. An international award-winning designer, it is fair to say that Scott has always been a creative perfectionist, and that his determination is probably the main reason behind his long and varied creative career. While his mind has always been on helping clients and creating new solutions to often age-old problems; his background and love of all things film perhaps best explains his journey into storytelling, and affinity for character development, dialogue, as well as the occasional twist. In 2017, after twenty-one years within the design and communications industry, he chose to focus on creating something that he himself wanted to share. The HeroPlot Multiverse was born, and after plotting an entire array of characters, heroes and villains, Scott was finally able to release the first chapter of his modern-day dystopian vision into the literary world.
