HEROPLOT: The Absolution of Kane Part II: 3

The explosive, heart-stopping climax to the second chapter in the HEROPLOT series, The Absolution of Kane.

Hutton’s Peak was clearly no accident, and as the noose tightens around Woodville, the only choice for Josh is to take matters into his own hands. Despite his hatred of implants, those who surrender to the lure of DomiGen, the flickering flame of hope struggles to remain alight as doubts and fear are matched in equal measure. Faced with the reality of losing everything he holds dear, the lines between triumph and disaster blur when each results in the other. Every step is now fraught with danger, and Josh finds himself caught within the twisted thralls of good and evil while those around him continue to fall.

With time running out for a life that can never be returned, forgiveness may come for those who are worthy, and vengeance for those more deserving. But as Josh is confronted with the bitter truth, the secrets of his own past may yet return to haunt him, and the question he must answer is the same as it has been since that fateful night.

Win or lose, there is no victory, and the price that Josh is forced to pay is beyond anything he could ever imagine. Still, the prospect of saving his friend now shrinks within the shadows and the terrifying possibility of what success will undoubtedly unleash. Threatened with extinction, all that remains is to let vengeance take form. No matter the outcome, one thing is certain. Nothing will be the same. Not for Josh, not for Cody, and certainly not for anyone else, ever again….
