Maroon cloth over boards with gilt-debossed particulars to spine. Pages are clean and unmarked. Text block has heavy sunning and light foxing to top edge, and fore edge is deckled. Boards are bright with light rubbing to lower edge and to spot at front outer hinge, bump to top edge of rear board, and moderate to heavy bumping and light rubbing to edges, corners and ends of spine. Binding is tight, spine is cocked. Dust jacket has foxing to fold of flaps, sunning to spine and edges, and large chip to top edge of rear cover following down rear outer hinge; creasing and occasional small closed tears to edges, corners and ends of spine. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
