Recto has a three-panel "Bird's-eye View of a Section Around San Francisco Bay," with locations of Shell Service Stations indicated by red dots, a printed list of the stations, and Bay Area "Automobile Ferry Schedules." Verso is large map of California from Santa Barbara on the west and Tehachapi Pass on the east, north to Crater Lake in Oregon, showing paved highways, "good" dirt roads and "other" roads, with "red circles" indicating "Shell Service Station towns." Accompanying the map is a list of "Places Worth Visiting in Northern California," including many Sierra Nevada destinations. Mild wear along folds, some soiling to outer panels, a good copy.
