BICKERS AND SON, London. 1899A good, clean and sound copy finely bound with decorative giltedged treecalf boards, decorative gilt banded spine with gilt title to tan label upper spine, marbled endpapers and matching marbled edges to textblock. Gilt embossed Royal Medical College device to frontback board, Epsom College prizegiving bookplate pasted to inside of front cover, bw map frontispiece, internally pages all clean and bright. Would be a very goodfine copy but has what appears to be an area of fire damage to lower spine with charring to an 3cm area.
