Very good+ condition, three volumes, octavo, in full leather binding by Maclehose, Glasgow. all edges gilt, gilt rules to fronts and backs and continued in leather margins of end papers 5 raised bands across spines with gilt decoration and titles, for each volume: gift inscription dated 1914 on front free end papers which marbled on the verso and marbling continued on to next blank, three further blank pages which show foxing all other pages clean and bright, xxxi plus 477 pages; xix plus 465 pages; xviii plus 522 pages including index. A handsome example of the binder's craft. [This is a heavy set (2.1 kg net weight) and may require additional for shipping/ postage. [QH] [QP].
