Marbled endpapers. All pages are securely bound. The front board of Volumes 1 and 2 have worked free but are in place with opaque, acid-free tape which has been applied along the split endpapers. There is also a 2 1/2"/ 6cm split along the front edge of the spine of Vol. 3. All books have bright, clean interiors, with no inscriptions. Full tan calf covers with gilt decoration. Some wear along the edges and at corners.
