Item description from seller

Full tan leather bound cover has heavy wear and cracked along hinges. Front board somewhat warped. Spine is straight. Binding is tight but cover hinges weak and held solid still by heavy threads. Name in antiquated ink at top of title page "Drury". Also a later illegible signature sprawled across title page and dated 1936. Pages are toned with modest foxing and in very good condition. Rare pre-1800 with its engravings. 6 copper plate engravings including frontispiece of Hume. The other 5 include King Stephen, Henry I, Henry II, William the Conqueror, and William II. .
