18.5x11.5cm. Printed for the author by R. Leader, Sheffield. Missing the large map of the county. pp(2)900(2) including single blank preliminary & final leaves. Lightly marbled edges. Hinge between pages 898 & 899 strained. Pages 899/900, blank final leaf and rear flyleaf with light creases across upper outer corners. Original tan calf boards with blindstamped decorative borders; replacement spine of some age, in hide of inferior quality and finish, with gilt title 'Lincolnshire' and gilt rules. Original endpapers. Replacement spine worn; with splits, tears, and loss of up to just over 3cm at foot. Rear board with loss of triangular segment of hide at lower inner corner, extending about 2.5cm along both hinge and lower edge and associated with loss at foot of spine. Hide of both front and rear boards with surface loss over a number of grazes, and with a number of minor indentations & scratchmarks. Boards otherwise clean and in reasonably good condition. Owner's name on front flyleaf, some pencillings on rear endpapers. Top edge of text-block toned and a little dust-marked, other edges just lightly toned. Binding a little wanting in appearance, but holding firmly; contents generally clean, tight and very good. GOOD copy. Seller Inventory # 27563
