This book tells the whole story, from the "Reliability Trial" of 1984, through the intrepid racers of the 1920's and 1930's right up to the modern world championships. 400 photographs. Front cover photograph is Stephan Johansson driving his Ferrari to third place in the Australian GP of 1986, back illustration is the French Grand Prix of 1922 by Gordon Crosby (National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.)
