1946, xxii, 313pp, index, illustrated, bibliography. VG+ in G dj. The dj is moderately soiled. It appears someone trimmed the dj, top and bottom, perhaps to remove chipping and/or crinkling, (or to prevent it), then put protective tape along the top and bottom to prevent further damage. Consequently, the dj is now about a quarter inch shorter than the book. Now in a Brodart cover, which would have prevented the problem in the first place. Sub-titled: A detailed account of the pioneer printers, 1749-1800 and of The Edwards & Broughton Company, 1871-1946, including a brief account of the connecting period.
