This 434 pp. Hardbound was originally published in 1881, and contains sketches of prominent families and distinguished men. This Bicentennial Edition was reprinted with a NEW INDEX by Edith M. Clark. Like most scholarly tomes, the last 93 pages are Appendices & Index. There is a small label on the first blank flyleaf. It states "Donated 1989 to the Filson Club -- LTC Robt. C. Jobson". The book otherwise is unmarked & in FINE condition. The D.J. shows soiling & corner chipping & grades Very Good-. Similar 1974 edition lists to $95.00.
