HOA Gold (Paperback or Softback)

All that glitters isn't necessarily gold. For the young dentist Brighton Dunn and his wife Gina, that fact could become a mixed blessing. Trying to build his practice and their dream home in a virgin desert development, they and their new neighbors find that life sometimes can be more of a nightmare than a dream. Stalked by a reclusive female hermit and threatened by the greed of unknown intruders, the finding of precious metals beneath the desert floor of their gated community ultimately thrusts these Home Owner's Association members into the limelight of national interest. It is a melting pot of neighbors including: Rhonda Tucker, Hollywood's hottest rockabilly icon; Roy the explorer, friend and protector of everyone; Charley, the ambitious attorney--now torn between friends and firm; Three expatriate families and the master developer of Hidden Canyon, Dean Shutter. This eclectic group attempts to unite in the pursuit of riches beyond their wildest dreams, only to find much more excitement than they ever expected. Bound by the rules and regulations of the neighborhood H.O.A., the tightly-held secret of strange rare metals beneath their feet is too good of a secret to keep to themselves. Should they preserve the environment or live in regal splendor? Can they have the best of both, or will outsiders claim their share? Balancing potential wealth with respect for the beauty and sanctity of the desert pushes the Hidden Canyon residents to the edge of their mental and physical extremes.
