The slipcase is gold covered and has several chips around the corners, occassional bump at the edges. Book plate on front. Gold leather ette boards with green and red patterns in "runes". Green free end papers. Text is clean and intact, the binding is tight. Scattered color illustrations throughout by the author. There are also illustrations in two-color variations. DATE PUBLISHED: 1976 EDITION: 50th anniv. ed 317 PAGES.
