Hardcover: H 19cm x L 13cm. 480 pages (but missing 201-204, 462-470; edge-worn pages 207-208 detached and laid-in). OCLC indicates 480 is correct pagination. Large portions of front free endpaper and front flyleaf missing; missing rfly and rfep at least as there are no rear leaves between page 480 and rear pastedown; several clipped-out sections to last five leaves or so. Foxing, staining, and some pencil writing/markings. Black leatherette spine cocked with small chips, rubbing, and scuffing; rubbing and edge-wear to brown cloth boards. Book retained for presence of bookseller ink stamp "J.W. & W.H. Lea. | Gen'l Merchandise, | Leaf & Scrap Tobacco | Pleasant Grove, N. C." on remnant front free endpaper.
