Opposite is a full-page Plate of the Boy Jesus with sheep (The Good Shepherd). The Apocrypha has 229 Pages and 3 Plates. The New Testament has its own Title page. Frontis. illus a Full Page Plate of Christ being taken down from the cross. 729 Pages and 15 Plates + the Frontis. New Testament followed by some Tables and the Psalms of David in Metre, 72 Pages. Text arranged in Double Columns with copious Footnotes. Contemporary Black Full-Leather Binding with 4 very shallow raised bands to spine. Gilt Lettering & Decoration in the compartments and on bands. Blind tooled cross-hatch pattern on front & back with blind tooled and bright Gilt Decorative borners. Blind tooled design in centre. Endpapers and all-page-edges Marbled. 12 1/2" Tall, 4.2 Kilos. Very slight wear to cover. Hinges sound & text block firm. No inscriptions. Plates in very good, clean condition.
