About the Author

Ryan has been working in the IT field for over 10 years, the last 5 of which have been spent primarily in an information security capacity. He has been an active partcipant in various security mailing lists, such as Bugtraq, for years.

Ryan has served as an expert witness, and has done internal security investigation for a major software vendor. Ryan has contributed to 3 other Syngress books, on the topics of networking.
