Hacker Politics: Revolution & Democracy 2.0

Hacker Politics is bold in its questioning and far reaching in its potential outcome. It raises the question as to whether American citizens should create a proactive hacking strategy as a legitimate neo revolutionary political act. Could this help minimize government abuse? Minimizing government abuse will prove to be a personal challenge to what it means to be an American citizen in the 21st century and beyond.

Hacker Politics is concerned primarily with minimizing two serious domestic abuses. One, the indiscriminate violation of privacy rights of innocent American citizens by government. Secondly, the arbitrary commitment of American citizens and resources, to wars and conflicts under false or dubious pretenses. How might assuming the role as a neo revolutionary designer of democracy change the status quo? What role could proactive hacking by citizens as the "fourth branch of government" play in today's democracy? Would such an approach cause more harm than good? These questions, and more, are proper for American democracy 2.0.
