Illustrated with many full-page drawings. See the artwork by Raskin come to life with Princess Batya seeing the little basket by the river with a very nice baby boy inside - having pity on the baby and raising him as her own boy in the palace; Miriam leading the other women, playing the tambourine, crossing the Red Sea; Moses and the burning bush and more. Nameplate on endpaper with name crossed out, inscription on blank title page dated 1955 for a Bar Mitzvah gift. DJ is cut in half at the spine with a piece of the DJ missing at the bottom at the spine and the back - front of the DJ is in good condition, other than the fact that it is separated from the DJ spine.
