About the Author

Ana Monnar is married to Octavio Monnar. They were both blessed with three children, Alberto, Anna and Alexander. The family also adopted Lulu, the star Yorkshire Terrier. Sunny, a Yellow Nape parrot has been with the family for many years.

Mrs. Monnar has been teaching for 25 years. She is currently teaching fourth grade.

About the illustrator

Anna Monnar is the daughter of Ana and Octavio Monnar. Along with her brothers Alberto and Alexander, she is also blessed with an older sister, Alina, from Mr. Monnar's first marriage.

Anna took many years of dance lessons. From age 4 to age 11, she danced ballet, lyrical, tap and jazz. Anna is currently 12 years old. She reads the second reading during mass every month. She loves and participatesin track and field, cross country, basketball, softball volleyball, and enjoys being in team sports at school. Anna is very much loved by her family and friends. The teachers and administrators at the Catholic School where she attends show a lot of love and care also.
