New edition, revised and remodelled. Undated. Dated using Copac. Volumes III and IV of an original four volume set. Sadly lacking volumes I and II. In a half calf binding, with marbled paper covered boards. The work features a variety of literary extarcst from numerous noteworthy authors and poets, from Charlotte Bronte to Charles Lamb, Benjamin D'Israeli to William Cowper. In addition the work features additional biographical and critical notes by Charles Knight. Featuring the illustrations of the artist, William Harvey. In a half calf binding, with marbled paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. Light patches of rubbing to the joints, boards and extremities, resulting in a very minor amount of loss to the paper of the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Sadly lacking the first two volumes. Near Fine.
