The Hamburger Inheritance

A cold case in the heart of Hamburg. A fifteen-year-old secret buried in the scent of spice.

When Interpol consultant Maya Sharma receives a priority file on a missing German merchant, she is drawn from the warm lanes of Melbourne to the frozen canals of Hamburg's Speicherstadt.

Ingrid Kaufmann didn’t just disappear; she left a legacy. Behind a locked door on the third floor of a centuries-old warehouse lies a "library of smells"—and a record of a criminal network so meticulous it has remained invisible for decades.

As Maya peels back the layers of a global conspiracy, she realizes that being "the right person" to find the truth also makes her the first person the network needs to eliminate. In a world where the spice trade is a front for something far more lethal, the most dangerous thing you can do is keep a record.

The investigation of a lifetime. The inheritance of a ghost. Welcome to Hamburg.
