I'm listing 11 volumes of Shakespeare, marked Lenox Edition De Luxe, this being one. These are numbered editions being part of a set where only 1000 where printed. No number is written in the location provided by the publisher in these books. All are good or better and all are dated 1901. All are gold gilt on the top leafs, the other two leaf ends with rough cut. All have marbled endpapers. There is a light water stain at the bottom leafs and throughout. Noted one leaf with some pencil markings. I did find a few copies with leafs being uncut at the bottom or the side. Maroon faux leather like hard covers with the gold gilt print on the spine in very good readable condition. Tips are bumped with a bit of wear on most and the spine ends, the top spine end and the bottom having a small piece missing. The covers are clean and fresh. The hinges front and back are tight and all is holding well. A clean and tight copy. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
