It begins with 2 world maps (one in Mercator projection and one hemi-spheres), followed by 2 sheets containing 8 physical maps, and a sheet with a diagram of 8 mountain profiles. The primary focus of this atlas is German Empire and Europe. /// Half-leather binding with leather corners; hardback, 288 pp., 2° (36.5 x 57 cm), cover worn, faded and sightly stained, backstrip rubbed, label slightly peeled off, two corners bumped, two corners rubbed, endpapers yellowed, title page and next page have fingerprints and pale smudges, maps' corners have fingerprints (or traces of dust), edges of several maps are skillfuly fixed with adhesive tape (maps themselves not affected), map of Bohemia has small brown stains (see photo), several maps have traces of moisture on edges, there are fingerprints and pale smudges on most sheets but maps themselves are rarely affected, there are several numbers written with pen on title page, condition: good Book Language/s: German.
