(7th) Three volumes, large and heavy, grayish cloth with bright gilt title on front and spines, some 200 articles on Artificial Intelligence--design of computer programs that exhibit near-human levels of intelligence. Inside covers and adjacent end papers show outline of contents. Conceived of and produced at Stanford University's Dept. of Computer Science. Volume 1: 409 pages. DJ has very tiny tear and light crease at top front tip, light wear along back bookfold edge and top of back spine indentation. Volume 2: 428 pages. DJ has two very tiny tears and micronick with light wear at top front edge, three light greenish tiny stains at top back. Volume 3: 639 pages. DJ has 3/8" tear with two creases at top front edge at middle, very tiny surface wear spots at places along front bookfold edge, very slight surface wear at spine top left and right edge, slight surface wear at and near top back tip and bottom back tip. Near Very Good set.
