Dr. Anil Philip is currently working as Associate Dean (Head), School of Pharmacy, University of Nizwa, Oman. Among other credentials, he served as a member of the Health and Social Sciences sectorial grant committee of The Research Council, Oman, and as Faculty Mentored Undergraduate Research Program general supervisor to promote undergraduate research at the University of Nizwa. His research objectives and achievements have been in controlling/modifying the release of small/large molecules targeted to GI space using phase-transited delivery systems. He has worked extensively in the field of controlled/ modified drug release systems. Currently, his research focuses on developing nano-drug delivery systems, which can be targeted to the various body organs. He has guided students in areas of targeted drug delivery, has more than 40 original research publications in international peer-reviewed journals, and two patents on drug delivery systems.
Dr. Aliasgar Shahiwala is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, and Graduate Program Director, at Dubai Pharmacy College, Dubai, UAE. He received his MA and PhD in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, with a particular research focus on the area of novel drug delivery. His postdoctoral research at Northeastern University, USA, centered on applications of nanotechnology in the field of drug delivery and drug targeting. With more than 20 years of teaching and research experience, Prof. Shahiwala has published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals, edited 4 books, and authored many book chapters, as well as being an active reviewer and editorial board member.
Dr. Mamoon Rashid serves the college as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Appalachian College of Pharmacy, Oakwood, Virginia, USA. After finishing his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, he joined the Appalachian College of Pharmacy in October 2013. His doctoral research work discovered that the endopeptidase neurolysin is associated to stroke pathology, and remains a potential consideration for developing therapeutics. Recently, Dr. Rashid has contributed two chapters for a book on Bioinspired and Biomimetic Materials for Drug Delivery (Woodhead, Oct 2016). Dr. Rashid’s research interest includes both drug delivery and molecular biology. His current projects included development of transdermal drug delivery and stability of marketed drug products and development of analytical method of different products compounded in local pharmacies.

Renowned for his prolific contributions to the field, Dr. Faiyazuddin is an avid researcher, delving into various facets of formulation science. As the founder Dean R&D at Al – Karim University and a Professor of Pharmaceutics, he is at the forefront of health and drug delivery research. With 18 years of experience, Dr. Faiyazuddin is currently the founder Dean R&D and Professor of Pharmaceutics at Al – Karim University. Previously, he served as Dean and Professor at The R. C. University, Principal at Bihar College of Pharmacy, and held various academic and research positions at the University of Hail and Integral University. He is advising Nano Drug DeliveryŽ USA (A product development partnership company) for product development, optimization, and scale-up of Nanopharmaceutical. Holding a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, Dr. Faiyazuddin specializes in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and earned an executive strategic leadership management degree at the Jacobs-Abbey Global Institute for Leadership Studies, Woodbridge, Virginia, USA. He has extensive research experience in pharmaceutical nanotechnology, advanced drug delivery, marine bioactive, and recently pharmaceutical AI and probiotics medicines. He is a visiting scientist and adjunct professor of reputed universities at the national as well as international level sharing outstanding ideas and cutting-edge technologies with laureates in health and the pharmaceutical sectors.
He serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several high-impact international scientific journals published by Lancet, Cell press, Elsevier, ACS, Springer Nature, RSC, Taylor and Francis, Cambridge, and John Wiley. His scholarly contributions are substantial, with over 150 peer-reviewed articles published in top-tier journals such as ACS, Elsevier, and Wiley, alongside 9 patents, 12 books, and 62 book chapters. These include SERB-DST, as well as international bodies such as DSR-UoH-KSA, NJ-KSA, KAUST, UiTM Malaysia, and SickKids Hospital in Canada. His expertise in attracting and executing high-profile research projects is well demonstrated.
