About the Author
P. Jaisridhar a distinguished Assistant Professor at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, specializes in Agricultural Extension. His extensive career includes roles at the Directorate of Extension Education, Centre of Excellence in Millets, and other prominent research institutions. Dr. Jaisridhar is an accomplished educator, having taught and guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributed significantly to academic literature with six books, research papers, and e-learning resources. Recognized with multiple awards, including the Manak Veer Award from the Bureau of Indian Standards, he is deeply committed to agricultural innovation, leading various projects, training programs, and workshops, and playing a key role in institutional development at TNAU.
M. Senthil Kumar an Associate Professor in Agricultural Extension, specializes in Digital Agriculture with 20 years of experience. He has authored 5 books, contributed to 5 book chapters, published 14 research articles, and presented 25 conference papers. Additionally, he has developed 5 teaching/training manuals and 20 popular articles. Dr. Kumar has guided 10 undergraduate and 8 postgraduate students, making significant contributions to both academic and practical aspects of agricultural education.
S. Abirami is a dedicated doctoral student at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), who brings fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the field of agricultural extension. She completed her postgraduate studies under the mentorship of Dr. P. Jaisridhar, focusing on a comprehensive study of farm power utilization by farmers in Tamil Nadu.
