Prior owner names, one dated 1886, to front free-endpaper. Occasional minor soiling or light foxing to plates. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean and unmarked - of this scarce guide. OCLC (No. 8604399) locates only one copy worldwide, at the University of Oxford. ~I~ Llewellynn Frederick William Jewitt (1816-1886) was a noted illustrator, engraver, natural scientist and author of The Ceramic Art of Great Britain (1878). His output was prodigious and covered a large range of interests.
